Sources say that following two traffic accidents on Kabul-Kandahar highway, “at least 50 people have died”.

According to sources, these two incidents occurred on Wednesday night (28th of July) at a distance of 15 km from another in Ghazni province. One of these incidents happened in Ghazni’s “Nani Bazaar” area.

According to sources, in both incidents, type 580 buses crashed with gas tanker and trailer.

At least 50 have been killed and 15 others were injured in both incidents so far, a source said.

According to the source, the casualties are likely to increase.

The victims have been transferred to hospitals in Ghazni and Zabul provinces.

Local Taliban officials in Zabul province confirmed these two deadly incidents.

According to sources, the buses that saw the accident were on their way to Kabul.

The reason for these two incidents is not clear yet.
