Donald Trump, the president of the United States of America, has issued an executive order to suspend the country’s program for at least three months.

On Monday, January 20, the White House issued a proclamation that the restarting of the closure program is in line with the arrival of asylum seekers with the interests of the United States.

The decree states that the United States does not have the ability to attract a large number of refugees in a way that this action does not affect the resources of the citizens of the country and ensure their safety.

The White House added that as the refugee program continues, their proper reintegration into the US will not be possible either.

The decree reads: “This decree suspends the United States Refugee Program (YASRIP) until more asylum seekers into the United States align with the interests of that country.” »

The reason for the suspension of the program was a concern for “public safety, national security, and ensuring the ability of refugees to adapt appropriately to American society” and preserving resources for citizens of that country.

According to the order, despite suspending the US refugee program, the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security can decide jointly within their “own discretion” to accept people as refugees on a case basis.

The exception applies if it is determined that the entry of these people as refugees is “in the interest of the national interests of the United States and is not considered a threat to the security or well-being of the country, according to the declaration. »

The White House has announced that it will be closed to resuming the US refugee program according to the US Secretary of State and Homeland Security assessment report.

According to the institution, the suspension will be implemented from January 27th of next year.

Donald Trump has canceled flights of nearly 1,000 and 660 Afghan refugees to the United States after holding his inauguration ceremony by issuing another order.

According to reports, these people are among those who are endangered by the Taliban.
