Ministry of Economy called for the release of Afghanistan’s foreign assets.
The Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Emirate, has asked the world community to put the foreign assets in the hands of the Central Bank of Afghanistan in order to maintain monetary stability, strengthen the financial system and economic stability of Afghanistan.
The ministry wrote in a newsletter in its X user account that the United States of America has blocked more than nine billion dollars of Afghanistan’s currency assets.
The Ministry of Economy added that the blockade of Afghanistan’s monetary assets has affected the national economy of this country.
The newspaper stated that any action by the US on the appropriation, use or transfer of Afghanistan’s foreign assets is not acceptable to the Islamic Emirate.
