Causes include extreme heat, recent floods, and malnutrition
Governor’s spokesman Sediq Ahmad Sediqi said that hospitals are equipped to handle diarrheal cases and that public awareness campaigns are underway to help prevent further spread.
Local resident Sherbaz, whose three children are ill, confirmed the situation is dire:
“Hundreds of children are sick, and some have even died. The Ministry of Public Health must expand medical facilities urgently.”
Logar’s children are facing a health emergency. Authorities urge families to seek early treatment and follow prevention guidelines, especially during extreme weather.
