Fiber optic internet is being cut off in Nangarhar.

Qureshi Badal, the Information Commander of the Directorate of Information and Culture, said on Wednesday, 26th of Sambale that the order to disconnect fiber optic internet will soon be implemented in Nangarhar and other eastern provinces. He cited the reason for this action to prevent moral corruption and reform society.

Local sources in Laghman have also informed that since yesterday the internet speed in this province has decreased and access to online services has become more difficult. Last day, fiber optic internet in Kandahar, Helmand and Balkh was disconnected and the fiber optic development project in Herat was also stopped.

Also, the internet of mobile SIM cards is disconnected or is available at slower speed in some provinces. Government officials have announced that HAB ordered to disconnect fiber optic internet. Tallah Akhandzadeh has been issued.
