In the current year, thirty-five tons of honey have been produced in Helmand.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate has announced that more than 160 beekeeping farms are active in Helmand.

This ministry wrote on X today that beekeeping farms in Helmand are active in the districts of Nade Ali, Garm Sir, Infant, Naveh and Lashkargah, the center of this province.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, added that in the solar year, 35 tons of honey was obtained from bee farms in Helmand.

According to the ministry, more than 400 people are working on bee farms in Helmand.

Beekeeping is one of the economic activities and some citizens working in the sector provide food and non-food needs of their families.
