According to the commission’s report, most of the returns took place through Torkham in Nangarhar, where 940 families entered the country via this route.
In addition, 155 families returned through Spin Boldak in Kandahar, five families through Pul-e Abrisham in Nimroz, 15 families through Angur Ada in Paktika, 34 families through Bahramcha in Helmand, and 136 families through Islam Qala in Herat.
The Commission for Addressing Refugee Issues emphasized that efforts to facilitate the return process of refugees and to provide them with support services are ongoing.
