The process of educating 200,000 students in schools was affected.

The Ministry of Education of the Islamic Emirate, announced that in the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan, the process of educating 200,000 students in religious schools and schools was affected.

The spokesman’s office of the Ministry of Education, today (Saturday, 22 Sanbele) wrote in a statement that 268 students were killed and 862 others were injured in Kenner alone.

Studies by the Ministry of Education show that many educational centers have been partially or completely destroyed and the education process is facing serious obstacles.

The Ministry of Education added that after the earthquake in the Eastern provinces, a large section of the students with psychological and physical problems are also struggling. The ministry stressed that “immediate” aid is needed for psychological support and reconstruction of educational centers in eastern Afghanistan.
