KABUL – In a highly anticipated showdown, Afghanistan’s national volleyball team is set to clash with Turkmenistan today, Tuesday, for the coveted title of the CAVA (Central Asian Volleyball Association) Nations Cup. The final match, which will crown the champion of the six-nation tournament, is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Afghanistan time in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Afghanistan secured their place in the championship round with a series of commanding victories, overpowering host nation Bangladesh, a strong Nepali side, and the Maldives.
