Afghanistan Books 2026 Asian Cup Place After Decisive 8–0 Win Over Myanmar

In a display of sheer dominance, Afghanistan’s national futsal team has officially booked its place in the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup finals, sealing the top spot in Group H with a resounding 8–0 victory over hosts Myanmar on Monday, September 23rd, in Yangon.

The match was a masterclass in offensive pressure and clinical finishing. From the opening whistle, Afghanistan controlled the tempo, overwhelming the Myanmar defense with sharp, coordinated attacks and relentless pressing that left little room for the hosts to respond. The victory was a true team effort, with the goals being shared across the squad.
