Kabul – Afghan mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Baz Mohammad Mubariz will make his professional Muay Thai debut on August 24 in Phuket, Thailand.
Mubariz is set to face Mustafa, a Bahraini athlete of Iranian origin with significant Muay Thai experience. The match will be contested over three rounds of three minutes each.
This fight marks Mubariz’s first venture into Muay Thai after a career primarily dedicated to MMA. Recently, training videos shared on social media have highlighted his intense preparation and determination.
Over his professional MMA career, Mubariz has fought 17 times, earning 11 victories and 6 losses. His opponent, Mustafa, enters the ring with a deep background in Muay Thai, promising a challenging debut for the Afghan fighter.
