The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has warned that tomorrow heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and flash floods will affect eight provinces of the country.
The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation announced that tomorrow (Sunday, September 13), heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and sudden floods are forecasted in eight provinces of the country.
Based on the ministry’s statement, the provinces of Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Paktia, and Khost are at risk of heavy rain and possible flooding.
Forecasts indicate that rainfall levels in different areas of these provinces will range between 10 to 25 millimeters.
The ministry also warned that in the western provinces, especially in Salang, strong winds are likely, with speeds predicted between 50 to 80 kilometers per hour in some areas.
The ministry urged people to take necessary precautions and avoid unnecessary travel through vulnerable routes.
