Saudi club set to sign Uruguay striker for €53 million as Liverpool eyes Alexander Isak

- Darwin Nunez, who joined Liverpool from Benfica three years ago for an initial €75 million ($87m / £65m), is now on the verge of a transfer to Saudi club Al-Hilal, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
- Al-Hilal will reportedly pay an initial €53 million for the 26-year-old striker.
Nunez’s Decline at Anfield
- Despite scoring 40 goals in 143 appearances, Nunez has struggled to justify his price tag and has gradually fallen out of favor under both Jurgen Klopp and new manager Arne Slot.
