Local officials in Parwan announce the launch of a door-to-door internet project in Charikar city; a project that will be implemented at a cost of 50 million Afghans and will provide internet services to thousands of families.
Atiqollah Feizani, Head of Communications and Information Technology of Parwan, said today that with the implementation of this project, the level of services and internet facilities for citizens will increase. According to him, the project includes extension of internet cables from the third to sixth district of Charikar city.
Based on the knowledge of the Parwan Directorate of Communications, after the completion of the project, about 17 thousand families in Charikar will have access to Wi-Fi services.
Faizani added that the project will be adapted to a length of 79 km and its work will progress in phases.
