Taliban disconnected internet services in Herat for the second consecutive night.
Residents of Herat say that internet services, except for the mobile SIM card internet, were disconnected from 10 pm to 8 am today (Wednesday, 2nd of May).
The reason behind this internet outage is not on.
This group has disconnected fiber optic internet services in most provinces to “prevent denial”.
In the last two nights, the internet for landline lines (DSL) and internet point to point (P2P) has also been disconnected in Herat.
Taliban officials say the leader of this group has issued an order to cut off the fiber optic internet. However, there is a concern about a complete internet outage in the country.
