Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood icon Dharmendra has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and will continue his medical treatment at home, according to an official statement from his son Sunny Deol’s team. The 88-year-old actor was hospitalized last week and had been on ventilator support for a brief period.

The news brings relief to fans and the film fraternity after a period of concern for the beloved actor’s health. The official statement aimed to quell speculation and request privacy for the family.

“We are happy to share that Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home,” the statement from Sunny Deol’s team read. “He is in stable condition, and his family is closely monitoring his health.
